Lautoka Hockey Association aims to install a turf pitch in the near future. A lot depends on support from Lautoka City Council and corporate sponsors, the pitch may be at Nadovu Park hockey ground or Churchill Park hockey grounds. Lautoka Central College already has plans to install its own synthetic hockey pitch with the help of local cultural and sports communities that has support from Ministry of Education and Sports in the Western Division of Fiji.
Tiger Turf Pitch is in common use in most New Zealand and Australian hockey centres and schools.
